Granola

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil

  • 1/2 cup natural sweetener (honey or maple syrup)

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1 cup shredded almonds

  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

  • 3 cups oats

  • 1/2 cup of chocolate chips or raisins

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, natural sweetener, cinnamon, vanilla, salt and sugar.

  3. Add the almonds, walnuts, oats and chocolate chips and stir to coat completely with the wet mixture.

  4. Lay put the granola on the lined pan and bake for 10-15 minutes. Let cool for 20 minutes then store in an air tight container.
