Cinnamon Sugar French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 6-8 slices of toast

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup heavy milk

  • 1/4 cup milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

  • butter for cooking

Instructions:

  1. In a rectangular container (with edges), whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk and vanilla extract.

  2. In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.

  3. Take a slice of toast and dip it into the egg mixture. Place the slice of toast on a rack with a tray underneath.

  4. Sprinkle about 1 tbsp of cinnamon sugar onto the toast. On medium heat, butter a pan. Place the toast onto the pan, cinnamon side down.

  5. Sprinkle 1 tbsp on the other side of the toast. Cook the toast for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

  • Serve with berries and maple syrup
