Cinnamon Sugar French Toast
Ingredients:
6-8 slices of toast
2 eggs
1/4 cup heavy milk
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon
butter for cooking
Instructions:
In a rectangular container (with edges), whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, milk and vanilla extract.
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Take a slice of toast and dip it into the egg mixture. Place the slice of toast on a rack with a tray underneath.
Sprinkle about 1 tbsp of cinnamon sugar onto the toast. On medium heat, butter a pan. Place the toast onto the pan, cinnamon side down.
Sprinkle 1 tbsp on the other side of the toast. Cook the toast for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve with berries and maple syrup
