Chocolate Semolina Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup Semolina
1 cup Powder Milk
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 cup condensed Milk
170g thick cream (قشطة)
1 1/4 cup chocolate, to melt
Instructions:
In a medium-sized pan, on medium heat. Heat the semolina for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Pour the semolina into a large bowl. Repeat step 1 with powder milk, this time stirring constantly.
Pour the powder milk into the large bowl. Add the cocoa powder and stir.
Add the condensed milk and thick cream to the large bowl and combine using your hands.
Once combined, scoop the mixture into the pan/mold and flatten. (you can either use a rectangular metal pan with wax paper or a silicone mold).
Melt the chocolate using the double boiler method, then pour the melted chocolate over the semolina mixture. Spread to coat evenly.
Refrigerate the dessert for at least two hours. Either pop the bars out of the silicon mold or take out the dessert from the rectangular pan and cut into even squares.
