Creamy Pesto Pasta

Ingredients:

  • 1 bag pasta

  • 1 tbsp olive oil/vegetable oil

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1/3-2/3 cup pesto

  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 2 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Boil the pasta with 1 tsp of salt.

  2. Strain the pasta and return it in the pot, add the oil to the pasta so that it doesn’t stick together.

  3. In a saucepan, pour the heavy cream and stir on medium heat until it bubbles a bit.

  4. Mix in the pesto. Then add all the spices and mix.

  5. Add in the mozzarella cheese and stir until you reach an elastic consistency.

  6. Pour the sauce onto the pasta and mix.

  • garnish with basil
