Molten Chocolate Banana Cups

Ingredients:

  • 2 extremely ripe bananas, mashed

  • 1/4 stick butter, melted

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3 cup yogurt

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • Nutella

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175ºC. Line 12 paper cups.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter. Mix in the eggs, yogurt, and vanilla. Set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar. Add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

  4. Pour 1 1/2 tbsp of batter into each of the paper cups. Scoop 1 tsp of Nutella into the center of the batter. Pour 1 1/2 tsp of the remaining batter on top of the nutella in each cup. *

  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm.

  • garnish with a pinch of cinnamon either before or after baking.
