Steak Cubes w/ Asian Gravy

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack steak cubes

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed

  • 3/4 cup water

    ASIAN GRAVY

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 2 tsp soya sauce

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1 1/2 tsp corn flour

    FRIES

  • 3 small potatoes

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine the steak, black pepper and teriyaki sauce. Set aside for 10 minutes to marinate.

  2. In a skillet, melt the butter. Add the garlic and sauté for 2 minutes. Evenly place the steak cubes and cook on low heat to your liking. Add in the water and continue cooking.

  3. Once cooked, transfer the steak cubes onto a plate. For the asian gravy add the water, soya sauce, sesame oil, sugar and cornstarch. Stir on heat until the sauce boils and thickens.

  4. For the fries, cut the potatoes into thin matchsticks. Place in ice water for 10 minutes.

  5. Season with salt and paprika and fry in oil until golden and crispy.
