Creamy Honey Mustard Chicken
Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breast
1/4 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
3 tbsp butter, divided
olive oil for cooking
2 tbsp honey
3 tbsp mustard
1 cup heavy cream/cooking cream
Instructions:
Start by cutting the chicken breast in half length wise so you have 4 flat chicken pieces. Cut each piece into smaller sections and place in a bowl.
Season the chicken with the spices then coat each piece in flour.
In a pan on medium heat, add 2-3 tbsp olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side or until it’s fully cooked.
Remove the chicken from the pan, still using the same pan, mix together the honey, mustard and butter then heat until it starts to bubble.
Add the heavy cream and mix until the sauce slightly thickens. Now add the chicken to the sauce and stir for 2-3 minutes.
serve on a bed of mash potatoes or rice
